Privacy Policy

Draft — Pending legal review

Information We Collect

OpenCare collects minimal data. We only collect email addresses that are voluntarily submitted through our newsletter signup and contact forms. We do not collect any other personal information unless you choose to provide it.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, which is a cookieless analytics service. It collects no personally identifiable information (PII) and sets no cookies. Only anonymous page view counts and web performance data (such as page load times) are collected to help us understand general traffic patterns and improve site performance.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. The only client-side storage used is a single localStorage key to remember when you have dismissed the analytics notice banner, so it does not reappear on subsequent visits.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — Website hosting and cookieless analytics
  • Resend — Email delivery for the contact form and newsletter
  • GitHub — Embedded repository data for ecosystem pages

Data Retention

Newsletter email addresses are stored with our email service provider (Resend) for as long as you remain subscribed. Contact form submissions are processed via email and are not stored in a database.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email us at contact@opencare.ai.

Medical Disclaimer

OpenCare is not a clinical service. We do not collect health data, and our platform is not subject to HIPAA. CareAgent is an open-source developer framework, not a medical device or clinical tool.
