Neuron operates at the organization level, above individual providers and patients. It manages the consent handshakes that establish authorized relationships, brokers connections between providers within an organization, and provides a standard API gateway for EHR systems, billing platforms, and other third-party integrations. Neuron is how healthcare organizations participate in the CareAgent ecosystem without requiring every individual provider to manage their own trust infrastructure.
