Architecture & Purpose

Provider Core enforces clinical scope deterministically. When CANS.md is present, it activates credential validation, six-layer runtime hardening, clinical skill gating, and audit logging. It is the trust anchor that makes an AI agent legally and clinically safe for provider use. Without Provider Core, an AI agent is a general-purpose tool; with it, the agent operates under the same accountability framework as the credentialed provider.
